Microsoft Query is a tool that retrieves data from a database. It cannot add, edit, copy, move, or delete records that are already present in the database.
If you need to modify a record, open the database directly, and use the commands provided by the database. For information and instructions, see the administrator for your database.
You can change the order of the records in the result set by clicking an option on the Sort pop-up menu in the Fields pane. Sorting in Microsoft Query does not affect the underlying database, only the result set.
